Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s gradual reopening of New Mexico’s economy brings with it new opportunities for job seekers. The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions launches an online job-listing board called All Hands, New Mexico to help unemployed New Mexicans get back on the job.
Unemployment rates are slowly bouncing back since COVID-19 impacted the job market back in March, dropping from 11.9% in April to 9.2% percent in May 2020. The new All Hands, New Mexico initiative is expected to help thousands of New Mexicans get back to work. Employers can list jobs, and job seekers can view a regularly updated list of openings, if they register with the New Mexico Workforce Connection Online System.
