We’ve been talking a lot about teams and the value of teams here at CNM. Seems like nothing is done without a team. We started talking about the health of teams and came across the concept of “team resilience.”
We all know the importance of resilience – in ourselves, the people we care about, in employees. But have you thought about the role that resilience plays within your teams?
Resilience is defined as “the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.” It’s a courageous and important trait, which we all desire for ourselves and our families. But as a leader, we also must think about the role that resilience plays in the success and progress of our teams.
Please take the time to read about the role you can play to build resilience in your teams. You’ll see that building resilience is important because, among other things, resilient teams believe they can do things, difficult things. They are also flexible and able to improvise, and we’ve all heard that flexibility and the ability to improvise are qualities most essential in the future of work.
Please take a moment to think about how you can build your teams and take them to the next level!
