
Note Thoughts as They Pass Through Your Mind
What is the effect that thought is having on your body? Describe the sensations and feelings in your body, in the belly, where tension is in the muscles, your sense of being. Seeing the effect your thought is having on your body, do you wish to have more thoughts of this nature? Or would you like to attempt to let go of these sorts of thoughts more often? They will likely return, be gentle, and welcome them as part of your human nature, invite them to pass through for now. Swing your attention back to focus. Simply begin again, each time this happens. It’s normal and natural. Hint: are you able to imagine who you would be without that thought? How is the thought trying to help?
