Stress is part of modern life in America and we all have our own way of coping. For some, it’s a yoga class after work. Others hit the basketball court for a good game of one-on-one. Maybe even a book club, or a craft circle was enough to keep the blues or the anxiety away. Being under lockdown makes it impossible to manage stress the way we used to. Our ability to cope with life’s ups and downs has been forever changed because of COVID-19, social distancing and sheltering in place.
To help manage anxiety and stress people may be experiencing, Harvard Medical School offers the webinar series: Regulating emotions & building resiliency in the face of a pandemic. In a series of short and accessible videos, students and staff of the Harvard Medical School community, share collective wisdom and techniques to deal with anxious thoughts and worries that might arise during this difficult time.
