CNM supports households that have fallen on hard times since the COVID-19 pandemic began. With that in mind, CNM would like to direct you to the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).
The ERAP makes $170 million available to assist households that are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible households may receive up to 15 months of assistance, plus an additional 3 months if the extra months are needed to ensure housing stability and funds are available. Priority will be placed on paying past due rent and utilities before any assistance is provided for current and future rent and utility payments.
Applications may be submitted online by either an eligible household or by a landlord on behalf of that eligible household. In general, funds will be paid directly to landlords and utility service providers. Visit this link to learn more and apply today.
