Oh no! I have a WebEx meeting in 15 minutes – what do I do to prepare?
About these dark circles. No time for a nap – frozen tea bags or ice cubes in a washcloth should work, but I better do this first to get as much time in as I can. I’ll finish off with a slight bit of concealer and maybe some mascara. TIP – if you don’t have enough time for this, put on some bright lipstick to draw people’s eyes away from your eyes.
Now, my hair hasn’t seen the shower, and I don’t have dry shampoo. Yes! I just remembered I can use baby powder, cornstarch, dryer sheets or baking soda. Just need to fluff it up and get it out of my face. TIP – if you put your hair in a ponytail tight enough, instant facelift.
My shirt is wrinkled, and I spent too much time on my eyes. My iron is folded up in the garage. I can grab my blow dryer lickety-split. Concentrated bursts can zap those wrinkles right away (best if you take the shirt off first, don’t ask me how I know). TIP – if your shirt has a few holes, don’t worry, it’s called “distressed” and is really in right now.
It was suggested by a certain boss I know that it’s always a good idea to pluck those chin hairs. If you do it well, I hear you’re good for another 2-6 weeks.
If all else fails? Make sure a window or other bright light is behind you – that way your face will look like it’s in a dark hole. Yep, I’m trying this next time.
I’m SO glad WebEx doesn’t have smell-o-vision.
